College Graduation At Last!!.....and a little more.

After four years of college I had a hard time actually believing that I was finally graduating with my Bachelors in Elementary Education.  It was a fantastic two days spending time with all my friends and family.  Here are just a few pictures to commemorate that special day.  On April 26th was the Commencement with all the graduates.  Some of my family attended this one (Dad, Mom, Will, Tiff, Sam and Julie, our exchange student).  After the ceremony we joined the rest of my family and went to Texas Roadhouse in Lehi and enjoyed a wonderful meal.    We then drove to my parents house for the night and slept there.  The next morning Sam and I went down early and I signed in and found seats.  At this ceremony those in attendance were (Dad, Mom, Sam, Sterling, Nanalie, Joe, and Ren).   I am happy that so many people were there in support and to celebrate.

This is my graduation announcement that I made myself.  I think they turned out pretty cute.

This is the beginning of  the graduation ceremony.  I ended up being like 10 rows from the front.

Here I Am........

This was taken the next day at the convocation.  Here are just a few of my cohort friends.  Starting on the left: Rachelle Cunningham, Me, Danielle Shaum, Debra Ward, Rebecca Carson, Amylya Stevens

Sam and I so happy together.

I am so glad that Sterling was able to come.  It was a surprise that he showed up.

Also during this week we had Sam's Grandpa Knotts funeral.  It was a tough time for Sam and his family.  We could see if coming but I know that he is know resting peacefully and is up with his family in heaven and is no longer suffering from the effects of Leukemia.  On Friday, April 27th we went to the funeral home with his family for his viewing.  It was good to remember his life and to see his legacy.  On the left is a picture of Sam while at the viewing.  His cousin's daughter was a little bored so they brought out the balloons and blew them up.  Sam attached a few of them on his head. Then on the following day, Lawrence Dean Knotts was laid to rest in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.  I have posted his obituary below:
